Night time success generally comes six months after day time control. You should only attempt abandoning nappies at night once day time training has been well and truly mastered and once your child has consistently stayed dry during afternoon naps. When you – and your child – feel confident, buy a wipe clean mattress cover and give it a go. Should your experiment show your child is not ready, switch back to nappies and try again at a later date.
